Niomar wants to create sustainable shoes that prioritizes the well-being of workers, the use of eco-friendly materials and reduction of our carbon footprint. The brand has strong connection to the sea and wants to create a positive impact on the planet.
They were looking for a partner to develop a sneaker that shows the brand connection to the sea.
Niomar asked us to design and develop a sneaker that shows the brand connection to the sea. the materials had to be vegan and most sustainable possible.
The first step was to research the materials we could use in the shoe and once that was done, we designed 9 variants of the model with a few variations between them.
After the design was approved, we moved on to the shoe last selection and the pattern making. Once the technical design was done, we started the production of the prototype.
