Although he studied gardening, José ended up following a path more closely linked to the industries that mark the region where he grew up: hat making and footwear. He began his career in hat making, where he worked for three years in the finishing area, developing a keen eye for detail from an early age. However, it was in footwear that he found his true vocation. After completing training as a cutter at the Portuguese Training Center for the Footwear Industry (CFPIC), he dedicated himself entirely to this area, having already accumulated 35 years of experience in various companies in the region.

Over the years, he has become an expert in cutting, a job that requires precision, technique and in-depth knowledge of materials. At Shoelutions, he plays a key role in ensuring that each piece is cut efficiently and accurately, contributing to the quality of the final product and the fluidity of the manufacturing process. His commitment and expertise make him an essential member of the team.

An outgoing personality, José loves socializing and enjoying time with friends. For him, weekends are synonymous with getting out of the house and enjoying himself to the full, whether socializing or exploring what the city has to offer. Despite his sociable spirit, he values organization in his day-to-day life and prefers a balanced pace, without too much adventure.

In his free time, he enjoys walking outdoors, playing soccer with friends and sharing moments with his family. For him, there’s nothing more important than creating good memories with the people he loves the most.
