Mike explored various professional areas before turning to footwear, working as a shipping clerk or machine operator. However, it was in footwear that he found his true specialization, with 25 years’ experience in the sector, 15 of which are dedicated to assembly.

He began his career at Pelin, where he spent five years in various roles in the assembly department. Determined to perfect his technique, he studied assembly at the Portuguese Training Center for the Footwear Industry (CFPIC), consolidating his knowledge in the area.

Gluing is one of the most critical stages in the manufacture of footwear, requiring precision and rigor to guarantee the durability and resistance of the product. Mike’s work ensures that each pair is assembled accurately and consistently, directly contributing to the final quality.

Extroverted and sociable, he may seem more serious at work, but deep down he is good-natured and playful, always transmitting good energy. Organized by nature, he likes to keep everything in order, but also values the balance between discipline and leisure.

Passionate about electronic music, he is a trained DJ and continues to perform sporadically, exploring new sound experiences whenever the opportunity arises. When he’s not dedicated to music, he spends his free time on walks, cooking and traveling. If it’s a sunny day, he can’t resist a few moments on the beach, making the most of his days off.
